About Lonie Ann:

I am a lifelong animal lover who believes every pet deserves comfort, play, and kindness—especially when you can’t be there.

I’m a professional, full-time pet expert with extensive training in animal shelters and obedience classes. I’m not a teenager from down the block, your forgetful neighbor, or a random stranger using a side gig for cash. I spend my time with pets because they deserve to be a priority, and you deserve to have a trusted resource on your team.

I spent many years at the Michigan Humane Society as a dog trainer, working with dogs (and cats) on socialization, manners, confidence, and basic skills. I even taught a few obedience classes. Handling so many animals gave me a good eye for behavioral concerns, health issues, and personality quirks. I have always been drawn to the shy, anxious, and scared pups - they win my heart every time.

What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.

ONBOARDING: New clients are not accepted until a Meet & Greet is completed. I come to your home, on your schedule, and meet you and your pet(s). We discuss your pet’s needs, our mutual expectations, and how Snoot Squad can best support your family. We provide a cost estimate and some paperwork. Once completed, you are added to our weekly scheduling process.

SCHEDULING: We finalize schedules weekly. While we love a consistent recurring schedule, we know that life is rarely so predictable. We touch base with our recurring clients weekly to plan the upcoming week. You can change your days or times each week. You can skip a week. Bookings are made first come, first served, so last-minute requests cannot be guaranteed, but we encourage you to ask!
